Samsung gas ovens are one of the most convenient and stylish ovens. But like every other oven, these ovens show codes that may intervene while you cook your favorite dish.
If you’re tired of errors on your Samsung Gas Oven display, you are at the right place.
This blog is a comprehensive guide to one of the most common errors on Samsung Gas Ovens: the C-F0 error code. In today’s blog post, I’ll share with you what this error code means and how you can fix it without hassle.
Let’s dive in!
What is meant by the C FO code on the Samsung gas oven?
The C FO code on the Samsung gas oven indicates a faulty main Printed circuit board. To fix C FO, replace the main Printed circuit board.
What’s Special about Samsung Gas Ovens?
Samsung gas ovens are different from regular gas ovens. They are the perfect choice for your kitchen. In addition to the regular features that most appliances have, the following are the features that make them stand out:
More Cooking in Less Time
With a 5.8 cubic foot capacity, Samsung Gas Range is one of the largest on the market. Hence, cooking dinner for a large gathering, such as a party with family or friends, allows you to cook multiple dishes simultaneously.
Moreover, among its outstanding features are three oven racks: one gliding and two wires. You can easily cook large items in it, such as a big holiday turkey or chicken roast.
Flexible Cooking
A five-burner cooktop on the Samsung Gas Range allows you to prepare multiple dishes simultaneously by using pans of different sizes.
With a 17K Power Burner, you can sauté food or boil water quickly as it creates intense heat through the burner. Griddle cooking is easy with a big oval burner at the center that distributes equal heat over a large surface area.
Professional and Elegant
The elegant design of the Samsung Gas Range adds a real premium touch to your kitchen decor with its elegant design. This five-burner cooktop offers a professional look with its glossy black enamel coating.
No Lifting
Endless Rail Grate lets you move your cookware on the Samsung Gas Range. The seamless rails easily lift heavy pots and pans without struggling.
In addition, simple indicator marks confirm that they’re correctly centered over the best heat source. It’s also easy to clean. A dishwasher is all you need to clean it.
C FO Code on Samsung Gas Oven
In Samsung gas ranges, the C-F0 error is caused by a faulty main PCB or display PCB. A PCB (printed circuit board) is a component that serves to control the electrical equipment within your oven.
The equipment includes components that ensure the cooking temperature remains stable, such as thermostats, fans, and other elements. PCB has another outstanding function of monitoring automatic cooking through the timer.
Therefore, a faulty PCB leads to malfunctioning and, thus, an error C-FO.

There is a lack of communication between the Display PCB on the Control Panel and the Main PBA.
Cause 2: Faulty control panel

How to check if Your Gas Oven PCB Needs to be Replaced?
The oven fan can tell you if the printed circuit board in your oven is broken. There could be an issue with the printed circuit board if it fails to spin or spins too fast.
This test ultimately shows if your Samsung Gas Oven has F-CO or not.

I’ll never buy a Samsung product again. An oven should last damn near forever and I’m getting error codes and oven noy working at barely 3 years. What trash.

Our power went out for 10 minutes, and when it came back on, our Samsung induction range and fridge were not working. So angry, only two years old! Such junk!!!
The extended warranty is out of control on the cost!
Hi Lisa,
I’m genuinely sorry to hear about the inconvenience you faced with your Samsung induction range and fridge. Power outages can sometimes cause unexpected issues with electronic appliances, especially if there’s a power surge when the electricity comes back on.
Given that your appliances are only two years old, it’s understandably frustrating. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you might consider:
Resetting the Circuit Breaker: Sometimes, the appliances might not turn on because the circuit breaker has tripped. Ensure that the circuit breaker for your kitchen or where the appliances are located is in the ‘ON’ position.
Checking the Power Cord: Ensure that the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet. It might have become loose during the power outage.
Power Surge Protection: If you don’t already have one, consider investing in a surge protector for your major appliances. This can help prevent damage from sudden power surges.
Manufacturer’s Warranty: Even if the extended warranty seems costly, the manufacturer’s warranty might still cover some repairs or replacements. It’s worth checking with Samsung’s customer service.
Local Technician: If the above steps don’t work, it might be a good idea to get a local technician to take a look. They might be able to identify and fix the issue without the need for a full replacement.
I understand the frustration with the cost of extended warranties. They can be pricey, but they do offer peace of mind. It’s always a balance between the potential repair/replacement costs and the warranty’s price.
I hope these suggestions help, and please let me know if you have any other questions or if there’s anything else I can assist with. Remember, every appliance has its quirks, and sometimes a little troubleshooting can go a long way!
Best regards,
Eva
